Arvind Kejriwal Claims BJP Seeks His Arrest to Hinder Lok Sabha Campaign Amidst ED Summons

The Delhi Chief Minister accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of attempting to harm his reputation.

New Delhi, Jan 04 (The Street Press India) – On Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stated that the government, led by the BJP, aims to arrest him to prevent his participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking at a press conference, he claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is attempting to damage his reputation.

Alleging a plot, he stated, “My lawyers have told me that the ED summons are illegal. BJP wants to arrest me to stop me from campaigning for Lok Sabha polls”.

On Wednesday, the 55-year-old Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor declined to appear before the Enforcement Directorate for the third time.
