Two Additional Opposition MPs Face Suspension in Lok Sabha

The Lok Sabha now has 97 suspended MPs following the recent disciplinary actions.

New Delhi, Dec 20 (The Street Press India) – On Wednesday, the Lok Sabha took action by suspending two additional opposition MPs. Thomas Chazhikadan from the Kerala Congress (Mani) and A M Ariff from the CPI(M) were suspended due to their behavior of displaying placards in the House.

This decision came after Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi proposed a resolution that was accepted by the House. Now, the count of suspended MPs in the Lok Sabha has reached 97, with a total of 143 opposition MPs suspended across both Houses of Parliament.
